Spring Cleaning to Declutter Before a Move

There’s no better time to de-clutter than around moving day. Whether you’re downsizing before a move or deciding you don’t need an entire drawer of holiday socks in your new home, moving tends to awaken us to our hidden surplus of perfectly good things we don’t want anymore.

Throwing away dusty boxes from the garage would certainly work for de-cluttering purposes, but most of us have things that aren't quite ready to sit in a landfill.

In Orange County, there are plenty of incredible organizations that would be happy to receive extra school supplies, stuffed animals, and just about anything else. We’ve compiled a list of drop-off locations for local organizations that could use some extra household and office items.

As you start your spring-cleaning, rest assured that your generous donations are greatly appreciated by the organizations serving the community's needs.
